About

QueryDock for Apache CouchDB is an Android-native administration client for Apache CouchDB and IBM Cloudant — a Fauxton/Cloudant-dashboard-class experience in your pocket. It brings encrypted connection profiles, document browsing and editing, Mango queries, replication, analytics, and offline tooling to the phone. Built with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Material 3 in an adaptive shell: bottom navigation on phones, and a navigation rail with list-detail two-pane layouts on tablets and foldables.

Features

• Save, select, test, and remove CouchDB/Cloudant connection profiles, with secrets encrypted by an Android Keystore AES-GCM key
• Authentication methods: anonymous, Basic, Bearer, API key, and cookie; inspect server version, vendor/session identity, and database metadata
• Browse _all_docs with document ID prefix search, forward/backward pagination, include_docs/conflicts options, and revision, attachment, and conflict indicators
• Edit documents as raw JSON with validation and formatting, create/update/delete, revision-conflict handling, encrypted draft autosave, and attachment upload/download/delete
• Mango _find queries with templates, macros, and saved queries, JSON/CSV export, a field-distribution chart, and one-tap index recommendations
• Manage databases (create/delete/compact/view-cleanup), design documents and views, the _changes feed, conflict resolution, Mango index management, schema inspection, and document export
• One-shot replication (with confirmation) plus reusable encrypted source/target/options templates, and monitoring of /_active_tasks and /_scheduler/jobs
• Partition-key scoping for partitioned databases and MapReduce views with reduce/group/group-level/descending/exact-key options
• Offline tooling: read-only inventory cache, encrypted document read-cache, selected-database background mirror (WorkManager), an encrypted pending-write queue with "Sync now" replay, scheduled health checks, and _changes-feed notifications
• Workspace snapshots, a raw API request inspector, and a dashboard health-score ring; rate limits (HTTP 429) are retried with backoff
