About

QueryDock for Oracle Database is an Android client for connecting directly to remote Oracle Database servers to explore schemas, run SQL, and manage objects. It reimagines the workflow of desktop tools like SQL Developer, DBeaver, and Toad for a mobile-optimized UI/UX, and keeps up with the latest Oracle releases through 19c, 21c, and 23ai. Built with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose (Material 3 Expressive), and a Clean Architecture + MVVM + Repository design, it connects via the Oracle JDBC driver.

Features

  • Multiple server connections (Basic, TNS, or JDBC URL) with a global session switcher and Test Connection
  • Secure connectivity: optional TLS/TCPS, Oracle Wallet (mTLS), and SSH tunneling through a jump host
  • Credentials encrypted with the Android Keystore (AES/GCM); a read-only connection mode plus automatic read-only detection (standby/True Cache) that blocks DML
  • Schema and object browser with a categorized tree, search, favorites, and Oracle 23ai awareness (SQL Domains, Vector indexes, JSON Duality Views, and more)
  • Object detail across many tabs: Columns, Data, Constraints, Indexes, Triggers, Relationships (ER), Grants, Stats, Annotations, Dependencies, and DDL (with object diff)
  • SQL worksheet with a data grid (sortable, fixed columns), keyword highlighting, autocomplete, an SQL formatter, an EXPLAIN plan tree, result charts, query history, saved snippets, and multi-statement scripts
  • Inline data editing and result export (CSV, JSON, or INSERT statements)
  • Database monitoring: sessions (v$session), blocking sessions, top SQL, scheduler, your privileges, and diagnostics
  • Adaptive two-pane layout for tablets and foldables, with theme, language, and an optional biometric app lock in a Korean/English UI
  • Destructive SQL (DROP/TRUNCATE, WHERE-less DELETE/UPDATE) is explicitly flagged before it runs and blocked on read-only connections
  • Free with ads (App Open and in-list native formats; no banner ads); remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase
