These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sia Makerlab ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Tarot Classic 1909 mobile application ("App" or "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Tarot Classic 1909 is an Android application that delivers the authentic 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) public-domain tarot deck. It supports the following features:
The App is provided for Android devices only (minimum Android 8.0 / API 26).
The Google account used to install or make any in-app purchase must belong to a person of the legal age required by Google Play and the laws of your jurisdiction (typically at least 13 years of age, or 16 in the European Economic Area). By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the authority to make purchases on the Google account used.
The App is rated Teen due to the divinatory nature of tarot content. Users below the rated age should not use the App.
The App does not require user registration or account creation. No personal account information is collected or stored by us.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on a compatible device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
The card images (Pamela Colman Smith, 1909) and the meaning text (A. E. Waite, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot, 1910) are in the public domain. The App's source-of-truth information (source_url) for each card is exposed inside the App for verification.

The App software, UI design, code, translations, layouts, and curation are owned by Sia Makerlab and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The public-domain card images and meaning excerpts are not owned by us; the App's expressive layout and translations around them are.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide regarding the App may be used by us without any obligation to you.
The tarot readings provided by the App are for entertainment purposes only. They are not, and must not be relied upon as, a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, psychological, or any other professional advice. You assume sole responsibility for any decision you make based on a reading.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
When you tap "Send to ChatGPT / Gemini / Claude," the payload leaves the App and is governed by the receiving AI service's terms and privacy policy. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the content or behavior of those external services, and we are not responsible for any interpretation, output, or use of the data once shared.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SIA MAKERLAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
The App offers a single optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase (non-consumable, one-time) processed entirely by Google Play. The purchase permanently disables all advertising in the App. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. We are not responsible for any disputes arising from purchases processed by Google Play.
In-app purchases are non-transferable and tied to your Google account. Google Play Billing is the authoritative source of truth for purchase entitlement; a "Restore Purchase" option is provided inside the App's settings.
The App displays an AdMob adaptive banner and, at most, one app-open ad per fifteen-minute window. The main reading screen carries no advertising. Advertisements are subject to Google's terms and policies. You may permanently remove all advertising by purchasing the one-time "Remove Ads" in-app product.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For users in the European Union, these Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable EU law.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sia Makerlab regarding your use of the App.
